Doraemon inspires children to save the environment and brings great fun to underpriviledged children from Father Ray Foundation at the launch of ‘Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the Green Giant Legend.’
Animation International (Thailand) Ltd. or AI (Thailand), the leading licensed Japanese merchandised company in Thailand, together with Central Plaza Chonburi offer Thai children great fun with Doraemon and his friends Nobita, Shizuka, Suneo and Jaian. They are travelling all the way from Japan to Chonburi province on the mission to teach Thai children how to save the environment.

‘During school holiday, our company is doing our best to bring Doraemon and friends Nobita, Shizuka, Suneo and Jaian who will be traveling all the way from Japan to create fun and enjoyable time for Thai children. We work in partnership with Central Plaza Chonburi so that children from Chonburi and provinces nearby can join the event. The theme of ‘Doraemon Musical Walk in Meet &Greet, the adventure in the Green Giant Legend’ features various activities that will encourage children to take care of the environment together with their favourite cartoon characters.
‘We take this opportunity to launch the movie ‘Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the Green Giant Legend’. AI (Thailand) will bring this movie to the children in Chonburi and nearby provinces on October 27, at SF Cinema City, 4th Floor, Central Plaza Chonburi. To reassure that all children can be part of this special event, we invited 80 blind and underprivileged children from Father Ray Foundation, Chonburi to the movie premiere. Blind children will translate their thoughts on the movie into Braille so that another 1,000 children from the foundation can have a glimpse of their experiences.’

Children can spend plenty of time with Doraemon and apart from having fun with their favourite cartoon characters, they will also learn how to save our environment and create a better world through all the activities this event has to offer.’
The Activity Hall situated on the first floor of Central Plaza Chonburi will be turned into a giant green forest for the fun and learning experiences of the children. Children can become the 2nd Doraemon Youth Representatives by taking part in the Walk Rally where children will learn to protect the environment through activities such as tree planting and separating wastes. Doraemon environmentally Friendly Camp will take place on October 31.
The final round of ‘Doraemon Singing & Dancing Contest’ for the trophy by HRH Prince Teepangkorn Rasmichoti, will be held on November 1. You can also experience tree planting activity at the mock-up forest. All profits will be contributed to mangrove forest planting at the Office of Natural Resources and Environment, Centre of Expertise on Eco-tourism for Mangrove Conservation, Chonburi.
A mini-concert by ‘Neko Jump’ - a popular young duo’ on November 1 is also part of the event.
The event titled ‘Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the Green Giant Legend’ will be held from October 27 to November 1 at the Activity Hall, 1st Floor of Central Plaza Chonburi.
